Well, just to let you know, I’ve got a fiction story in in a book that was just published. The book is called Wondrous Web Worlds Vol. 9 and is out right now.

All you’ve got to do is click on the book name and that’ll take you right where you can buy the story. It’s a nice, tender story about a father reconciling with his son so they can shoot the ashes of their father/grandfather into space inside a homemade rocket. You know, the sort of thing that happens every day.

All right, dudes. Listen up. There are now no more excuses. The time has come for you to read something fun. Only thing is, though, it’s not going to be this post.

As of now, Amazon.com offers their Kindle reader for the iPhone in the app store and for the Android OS in the android market. Well, now Amazon also offers Kindle for the Mac and PC. Which means you’ve got no excuses not to go to the Kindle store and buy yourself some good short stories.

While we’re on the subject, might I possibly recommend the following?

Freakshow is all about a girl genius searching for love while combatting spookies and ghoulies. It also answers the question of why it’s a bad idea to let a severed hand have free run of a mad scientists laboratory. Although that last one is pretty much self evident.

The Accidental Ghose is a man who dreamed he was falling and then forgot to wake up. Still, a ghost needs something to do so he applies for a job at CurseWerks, the people who bump back against the flesh-eating horrors of ancient intelligences, mad gods and really bad cheese with a chip on its shoulder. When things start to go wrong, it’s up to the accidental ghost and an accidental hero from the CurseWerks personnel department to save the day.

Evil, real evil, doesn’t always look it. Hubris Jameson is on his first assignment as a CurseWerks field operative after spending years as a reporter for the national Tattler-Tribune tabloid. He’s about to discover that bloodsucking fiends aren’t just disaffected kids playing dress up with cheap fangs. They’re real and they bite. In more ways than one.

Come on, dudes. Give it a shot.

Life in the suburbs can be cruel. Not for me, you understand, more for my friend Jon. Jon Arbuckle. I mean, just look at the comic strip below if you want proof.

See what I mean? Although, you might think there’s something missing from this strip. And, yeah, there is. It’s a large, and I mean really large, orange cat named Garfield.

Some dude named Dan Walsh got the bright idea to see what the Garfield newspaper comic strip would look like without the titular fat cat actually being present. The results are more than bizarre.

Jon seems to be struggling with an existential crisis every single day. Not to mention that he’s going more than slightly crazy in that he keeps talking to and receiving answers from blank space. Click on the cartoon below to see the full thing.
