My kids love “I Love Lucy.” We watch very little TV, but a lot of DVDs because we love sports in our home. However, you can’t watch a PGA tournement, NBA or MLB game or horse race without about 20 Viagra, Cialis or Levetra commercials. It is totally uncool that a “G” rated TV program can have those commercials. Another thing our wonderful government has messed up…
Anyhow, my wife loves Lucy. That means I love Lucy and my kids love Lucy. Last year we got this great DVD set with all the “I Love Lucy” episodes. And our kids can watch them anytime. And we know that I won’t have to explain Erectile Dysfunction to a three year old.
So Dude!, remember that kid-friendly TV programming does not equate to kid-friendly commercial programming. You’ve got to have an alternative, and DVDs are great.
